Airport Security
Today's random anecdote is a true story.
Anyone who's traveled out of a UK airport recently will know that the restrictions on liquids in carry-on bags are strictly enforced. Even though there are plenty of notices around the airports, passengers continue to arrive at Security with way too many bottles, cans and jars in their baggage.
In an attempt to get the security message across, Belfast International Airport recently produced some posters featuring pictures of restricted liquids. The photograph they chose to illustrate aerosol deodorants was one of a can of Lynx.
A member of the security team overheard two passengers discussing the poster: one guy was lamenting the fact that he would have to leave his can of Lynx behind. His friend was gloating - he knew he'd have no problems because his preferred deodorant brand wasn't Lynx.
